I think it’s an injustice that the nation wasn’t included. He/she could’ve contributed to a large chunk in developing the plot, if there is any. I was taught WWII from Britain’s and Germany’s POV. As far as I’m aware, the main characters of Hetalia (England, America, China, Russia, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan) were the most active members of World War II. Not trying to be mean, but unless the story is willing to delve into uncomfortable territory - i.e. the imperialist pasts & presents circa WW2, I’d rather not see any of the colonies/empire/etc. represented in Hetalia. Being Malaysian Chinese, do we really want to see England, France, Spain et al, be carried in sedan chairs and subjugate personifications of other nations? How about a post-script that shows Palestine being booted out of his house by baby Israel?
