Like treating Lily like a trophy to be awarded to either James or Snape because they ‘deserve’ her, or the hate Ginny gets for being a smart, athletic, pretty girl or the whole concept that she’s somehow a ‘slut’ (or that, if she were, it would be bad and shameful). I know a lot of y’all are only teenagers but you should really examine your internalized misogyny sometime. Especially the lack of understanding for Lily as a character in her own right.
