5 + 4 * 0

Could be

5 + (4 * 0)

OR

(5 + 4) * 0


Now, we can’t multiply by zero, so we abstract that anything multiplied by zero is zero.

But if we assume 

5 + (4 * 0) 
5 + (0)
5

And if we assume

(5 + 4) * 0
(9) * 0
0

The whole thing needs to be elaborated on seriously.
